Wood mouldings have been an important achitectural element since the first days of America to the present time. In colonial America, mouldings were most often produced at the construction site by joiners using hand planes. Many of the original designs and profiles have been retained in the standard mouldings produced today. We can fabricate any of these standard profiles in any species of wood desired. Our speciality is reproducing historic or hard to find profiles, even old style plaster mouldings can be reproduced in wood with exact detail. We have an inventory of over 300 knives in stock and can grind virtually any profile with our profile grinder. We can also make curved mouldings to fit round or eliptical window or arches.
